Rooted in Community
Aceso Hospice is more than a care provider — we are neighbors, partners, and advocates for the communities we serve across Southern California.
Who We Are
We believe that truly compassionate care doesn't stop at the front door. Aceso Hospice is deeply invested in the health and wellbeing of the communities where our patients live — Ventura County, Los Angeles, and Santa Barbara.
Drawing on firsthand experience, our team understands what it means to navigate a broken system. That's why we show up — not just for our patients, but for the first responders, volunteers, and neighbors who make our communities what they are.

How We Show Up
We are proud to stand alongside the firefighters, police officers, and emergency personnel who give so much to our communities. Aceso Hospice is honored to support these heroes and their families during life's most difficult moments.
Too many patients fall through the gaps in the health care system. We actively work to reach underserved populations across Ventura County, Los Angeles, and Santa Barbara — ensuring quality end-of-life care is accessible to all.
From community organizations to faith communities and neighborhood volunteers, we build relationships that strengthen the fabric of care around every patient and family we serve.
Aceso Hospice participates in community outreach, education events, and resource drives throughout Southern California. Caring for our community is not just our mission — it is who we are.
Get Involved
Volunteers are the heart of our community. Whether you want to sit with a patient, run an errand, offer companionship, or simply be a steady presence — your time and compassion make a profound difference.
Aceso Hospice welcomes volunteers from all backgrounds. No medical experience is required — only a willingness to show up with kindness and an open heart. We provide training and ongoing support to every volunteer who joins our team.
High school and college students are welcome to volunteer and accumulate community service hours with Aceso Hospice.
Caring for our community is not just our mission — it is who we are.
Patient & Family Reviews
"Aceso Hospice was recommended to my family by the assisted living facility we moved our mom into. They couldn't have given us a better recommendation! From the moment we first talked to Ross, our mom's nurse and case manager, we felt a calm come over us. He took all the time we needed, answered every question, and made sure our mom was comfortable and cared for with true compassion."
